Rhythms of Rapture: Sacred Musics of Haitian Vodou. Smithsonian/Folkways Recordings, 1995. This is possibly one of my favourite Haitian music CDs. The variety of songs and styles that it collects is quite remarkable. |

Roots Without End: Songs for Vodou with Mambo Racine Sans Bout. (Volume II) 2003. Stonee's Studio. This is an excellent compilation, produced by an American Houngan. Many of these songs were recorded on location in Haiti so don't expect studio-quality sound. But these are some essential songs for the lwa. The section of Mambo Kathy's Songs provides a number of songs for the Lwa in both kreyol and English. (You can order a copy of this CD from Mambo K's Crossroads)
